Dr. A. Muniappan received his PhD from Saveetha University. He worked at Karunya Institute of Technology (2001) & St. Peters Engineering College (2008) before joining SIMATS. He has had more than 21 years of experience in Teaching and Industry. His current research activities include clean combustion engines through fuel modifications, machining of composites, micro lubrication technology for machining and grinding, high performance metal working fluid, green machining, sustainable solutions to machining challenges, micro mechanical machining etc. He has published more than 50 research articles in Scopus indexed journals and 5 patents.
